THERE'S BEEN lively reader input to our article posted last week on FTNow, FTW's daily news service on the internet, questioning common courtesy in the freight industry.
What's happened to business ethics? asked a reader who requested anonymity. This after travelling from Randburg to the East Rand for a 09:00 appointment only to be alerted en route, ten minutes before the meeting, that it had been cancelled.
"Potential clients and in some cases existing clients do not value the time and direct costs involved in a sales call," said MSAS marketing manager Deon Fuhri.
