A CHEQUE for R 71 550 was handed over to the Ithembelihle Lsen School in Primrose on the East Rand thanks to a fund-raising initiative by UPS Supply Chain Solutions. The money was raised at its second annual spring ball attended by more than 130 guests. The school supports approximately 140 children with physical disabilities and although it is partially state-aided, it relies heavily on additional funds from the private and corporate sector to meet its operational needs and strategic objectives. UPS SCS South Africa’s managing director Paul Horsfall handed over the hefty donation to the school principal Leonore Ngozi.
