Following the completion of a stringent auditing process, all terminals operated by Transnet Port Terminals around the country are now compliant with the International Standards Organisation (ISO) environment and quality management system certification. “We are now ISO 14001 and 9001 certified in all terminals in every port,” said Raymond van Rooyen, chief environment and quality officer. ISO 9001 addresses quality management while ISO 14001 addresses environmental management.
