The Cargo Connection goes live

THE CARGO Connection has diversified its portfolio. The predominantly general cargo airline sales agent is now involved in the movement of frozen fish, livestock and even live sharks and rhino, says director Gerd von Mansberg. Through Hydro Air Cargo, TCC recently arranged the transport of two live female ragged tooth sharks, each 2.4 meters in length, to Vitoria Spain. Purchased from the Two Oceans Aquarium in Cape Town, they are part of a world-wide stock purchasing programme by the new L’oceanografic Aquarium in Valencia, Spain. “We were pleased to hear that they are settling into their new environment and are now the latest attraction in the Valencia Aquarium,” said TCC sales and marketing manager Karen Mitchell. “Hydro Air is able to provide a charter service to a variety of destinations and has also investigated rental penning systems for our customers. This will significantly reduce the cost of transportation.”
