Supply chain excellence recognised

Runner-up in this category was SCAW Metals. The Supply Chain Management Education Excellence Awards 2013 ceremony was held at The Venue in Melrose Arch, Johannesburg last week (Thursday, May 9). The awards are sponsored by Sapics, a professional association for the supply chain industry, to encourage and acknowledge organisations and individuals that have demonstrated significant achievements in supply chain management education. “These awards aim to encourage the continuous improvement of the supply chain management body of knowledge, address the skills shortage in our profession and to encourage the sharing of knowledge between organisations and individuals,” said Cobus Rossouw, Sapics president.
