According to Inchcape Shipping Services (ISS) a new 48-hour strike in Greece is due to hit the country’s main ports, starting today (January 27) and ending on January 29.
Called by the Hellenic Crew Union and the Towage and Salvage Crew Union of Piraeus, it will affect all commercial vessels calling at Piraeus, Aspropyrgos, Eleusis, Pachi and Megara ports for cargo loading/discharging.
During the strike, vessels will be unable to berth, shift berths or sail from the affected ports, ISS added.
