Simba looks for new growth opportunities

Six months since its launch as a transport and logistics company with a focus on overborder business, Simba Africa Logistics has made pleasing strides. “We have secured some regular over-border transport customers and are focusing on increasing our customer base,” Malte Kersten told FTW. “We are always looking for new growth opportunities. Our ships’ husbandry, with offices in Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, East London and Durban, has managed to secure some new agencies. In addition Simba is offering container sales, including new, second hand and container conversions.” Since container prices are dollar based, the weak rand has affected local demand, but Kersten remains upbeat.
