The Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) countries are joining forces in the fight against crime. In the face of inadequate resources and a lack of facilities at their forensic services, a recent two-day workshop looked at ways of exchanging experience and enhancing the quality of forensic services in Africa. Sharing of expertise, human resources and facilities could deal a blow to criminal syndicates, representatives from Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia and Zimbabwe were told at the event.
