SA Infinity opens in Shenzhen

JOY ORLEK SA INFINITY Cargo Logistics has strengthened its China presence with the opening of its own office in Shenzhen. The SA-based company was established two years ago, specialising in forwarding on the Far East and South America routes. An increase in volumes, particularly between South Africa and China, has warranted the move, says managing director Sam Pei. The company has representation at all major ports in the Far East and through sister company Landwave Air & Sea is able to offer customers a full logistics package including clearing, warehousing and inland haulage. While the Far East and South America are strong focus markets, SA Infinity is also targeting India and Dubai where Pei sees good growth potential. “West Africa is also well covered and we are always looking at new markets,” says director Thabo Hlongwane. The management trio comprises Pei, Hlongwane and Rishaal Parsad who represent a mix of trading and forwarding experience. According to Hlongwane, it’s the first BEE company to open its own office in the Far East.
