launched a new mobile
printing solution to help
fast-track the
movement of
goods across
borders.
According
to Moshe
Zulberg, group
business
development
director, the
CompuClearing
Mobile Printing
Solution enables truck
drivers to receive the bill of
entry documents en-route
and print them at the
border posts.
“Often truck drivers
are delayed on
their journey
to the delivery
destination
while they
wait for
the bill of
entry to be
processed.
This way
drivers can
start their
journey as soon as the goods
are ready to be shipped,”
said Zulberg.
The documents are then
forwarded to the driver’s
mobile phone, ready for
printing when they arrive at
the border post. “Customers
are increasingly focused
on more cost-effective,
efficient operations and this
solution could considerably
improve their delivery time,”
commented Zulberg.
