Not only do we now have our own first class facility (including a fully fledged warehouse and coldroom) but also the added expertise of JJ’s John Groves, Yusrie Jacobs and their team,” says Bernd Julicher, MD of Skyservices. Adds Neil Ryan, Skyservices’Cape Town brand manager: “Because JJ's has a similar view and approach to the business, the process was easier than expected and the Johannesburg and Cape Town branches complement each other very well. “Customers are now offered the same service for airfreight in Johannesburg and Cape Town. The seafreight function remains and should also expand, going forward.” Skyservices has a dedicated seafreight office in Durban, specialising in breakbulk and containerised seafreight for some prominent fruit exporters.
