CLIVE EMDON
THE DEMAND for palletising and packing services is increasing at a rapid rate says Vee Naidoo, MD of transport and warehousing company Reegans Freight. “We specialise in the palletising and packing of rice, salt from Botswana and cosmetics from local companies, as well as a variety of general goods such as engine parts,” he says. Currently the company is warehousing, packing and crating a new Brazilian drink, released for the first time this month at the boxing at Emperor’s Palace. Reegans has two large warehousing facilities in Johannesburg totalling 1000m2 and a warehouse in Durban of 500m2 to service its vehicles that run throughout South Africa and neighbouring countries – mainly Botswana, Lesotho and Swaziland. “Our warehouses have been certified by the Department of Health to store and transport consumables and we have specialised packing personnel,” says Naidoo.
