Outsource Packaging to open Pretoria office

CUTTING CORNERS on cargo packaging can have costly implications, which is why paying for the services of a specialist is money well spent. And that’s especially relevant when you’re dealing with non-standard, outsized cargoes, says Outsource Packaging MD Brett Vaughan. The Isando-based company is currently involved in the movement of a Ômonster’ undertaking for Metro Minerals. The 9m x 2.6m x 3.4m piece of equipment, too big to move in a 12m container, will be transported as breakbulk. The company’s in-depth understanding of the rigours of lifting, handling and movement across the various transport modes is clearly what clinched the contract. Outsource Packaging has carved a clearly defined niche in the manufacture of crates and packaging solutions for export cargo, dealing essentially with heavy industry. From next year it will open a Pretoria office to serve its growing client base in the area, while a KwaZulu Natal branch is also on the cards for next year.
