Anna Cox
MINISTER OF Transport Dullah Omar has called on the transport industry to work with the Transport Education and Training Authority (TETA) to build a multi-skilled nation.
Addressing a TETA session in Kyalami recently, Omar said the private sector, non-governmental organisations and other relevant institutions had to take responsibility by leading the skills revolution.
"The role of government is to provide a framework and to monitor the implementation of that framework. Employers and employees in both public and private sectors are best placed to make judgements about priorities on skills development in the workplace," he said.
