THERE ARE still no details released from Tokyo about the new P&O Nedlloyd service linking the Far East, SA and South America.
All the i's and t's haven't been dotted and crossed yet, said PONL's Cape Town-based east-west trade marketing manager, Andre Naude, we're very happy about what has developed so far.
And there's no rush yet for finalising the schedules and port rotation for the service, he added.
Although the end of our relationship with the Safari ship-sharing consortium is timed for March, our last loading is on a return trip from Japan, said Naude. And this will only complete its round voyage by the end of April.
