New system markets instant release of bonded cargo

Freight Fusion and TracIT Solutions in collaboration agreement A WAREHOUSING solution that provides almost instantaneous release of bonded cargo is the likely outcome of the recently signed collaboration agreement between Freight Fusion and warehouse and distribution specialists TracIT Solutions. “We see this as an important extension of our software offerings in the supply chain management field, which incorporates two very important pillars - warehousing and distribution,” says Freight Fusion CEO Brian Mulligan. “These pillars are vital if we are to provide a total SCM solution to our clients.” According to Mulligan, TracIT’s RF real time solution is state of the art. “And it even works on Thin Client without any problems, providing for centralised warehouse management running from one server.” TracIT, like FFS, believes in transparency and full tracking and tracing along the supply chain, says Mulligan. “In addition, TracIT software subscribes to SCORE principles.” FFS is also marketing Bond Store Management software, which can be used as a stand-alone installation. “This software takes the headache away from warehouse managers who dread a visit from Customs. It conforms to Customs regulations and its ease of use and built-in controls make management of warehouse inventory a breeze.”
