New Shippers Council board takes office

THE ANNUAL general meeting of the SA Shippers Council was held recently and a new board take their seats to face the challenges of the next year.
Elected as chairman has been L M Pelser of Sasol, with Thys Rossouw of Iscor as his vice-chairman.
The other board members are: Gerald Dawson of Polyfin; Rudi Eksteen of Dow Sentrachem; Mike Jarrett of Samancor Chrome; Attie Roos
of Sasol; and Andre Botha of Iscor.
According to executive director, Nolene Lossau, the council's web page - www.sashippers.org.za - is currently being updated. And, she told FTW, all our main projects for the year will be detailed there.
