Ocean carriers CMA CGM, United Arab Shipping Company, China Shipping Container Lines, Hamburg Sud, Hapag-Lloyd and NYK have entered into a vessel-sharing agreement on two loops between Asia and the East Coast of South America.
The NEX1 will commence with the July 14, operated with 11 vessels with capacity of between 8 000 and 9 000 TEUs.
The first sailing of the NEX2 will leave Busan July 11 and the carriers will deploy 12 x 8 000-10 000-TEU vessels on the service.
