New JV offshore bunkering service

A joint venture between Manica Group Namibia and Danish bunkering specialists, Monjasa, has resulted in the provision of bunkering services off Walvis Bay. Monjasa Denmark has specialised in bunkering services since 2002, and runs a number of bunkering barges around the world to provide fuel to vessels at sea. The barge off Walvis Bay provides bunkering for the fishing f leet, the oil and other industries, according to Patrick Kohlstaedt, acting managing director of Manica Group Namibia. Operating in Namibian territorial waters, the bunkering operations are ISO 8217: 2010 (fuel blends) certified.
