Mediterranean Shipping Company took top honours in the transport, storage and communication sector at the third First National Bank KZN Top Business Portfolio Awards in Durban recently. An award is given in each economic sector to businesses that are making a contribution to the sustained economic growth of KwaZulu-Natal. The criteria are drawn from the principles of the King Report on Corporate Governance and BEE Codes of Good Practice.
