DURBAN-BASED shipping and transport company MSC Logistics has taken on a corporate ‘new look’ and logo design. “As a wholly-owned subsidiary of the major global shipping line, Mediterranean Shipping Company, our new corporate identity is in keeping with our role as a service provider for freight deliveries from South African ports to inland Africa,” said MSC Logistics director Lawrie Bateman. The new corporate logo reflects the company’s business activities – providing cargo movements with speed, security and personal client liaison, he added. “As a major contract holder with four national rail networks we service our principal, Mediterranean Shipping Company, freight forwarders and other third parties by providing seamless intermodal deliveries within South Africa as well as to and from neighbouring states. “Think of us as a specialist transport organisation, as well as a support system for our clients’ marketing enterprises across southern Africa. "Operating out of all the major centres, we integrate with clients’ businesses, and provide project management services and solutions,” added Bateman.
