KEVIN MAYHEW TWO LOAD control centres commenced operations in the Matola and Boane areas of Mozambique on Monday (August 4). A joint venture between operations, upgrading and maintenance concessionare for the N4 Toll Route, Trans African Concessions (TRAC), and the Mozambican Traffic Police, the additional centres extend the 17 permanent and temporary load stations along the South African section of the route opened in April 2002. The load control stations are manned by the official traffic personnel.
