Mozambique coastal service to be launched

October will see the launch by UAFL of a dedicated Mozambican coastal service calling Beira, Nacala, Pemba and Mtwara out of Durban. The service can also be extended to Mombasa and Dar es Salaam subject to inducement. According to agents Seaclad Maritime, UAFL can also offer a TBL from both Cape Town and Port Elizabeth and will call PE subject inducement for direct calls. The line already offers a service from the Middle East loading Jebel Ali into Pemba and Mtwara for cargoes out of Europe, USA, India and the Far East. “The SA routing is an additional product,” a spokesman said.
