The new minimum wage for employees in the farm and forestry sectors is set to increase by 5.6% from March 1 this year according to the Department of Labour.
The minimum wage will be set at R3 169.19 per month, up from R3 001.13 per month in 2017/18, R731.41 per week, R146.28 per day and R16.25 per hour.
