Last year wasn’t just a
difficult year of recovery for
shippers, carriers and freight
forwarders. The companies
behind the software to
ensure the supply chain runs
seamlessly also found it
challenging.
According to Homith
Hooseria of software
provider Compu-Clearing,
the market in 2011 was still
unstable. “Many companies
experienced negative growth
and felt the pressure of the
volatile markets,” he said.
However, Compu-Clearing
is more optimistic about the
year ahead and has been able
to minimise financial risk
for itself and its customers
through its pricing structure.
“By being transactionalbased,
our clients were able
to benefit from the drop
in their prices, as business
slowed.
“We are confident that
2012 is going to be a positive
year for Compu-Clearing,”
said Hooseria.
“Clients have realised
the benefits of a ‘true
outsourcing’ model, and
more and more are moving
towards this. It allows us to
remain at the forefront of
the industry.”
