According to the Transnet National Ports Authority (TNPA), the reconstruction of the six berths at Maydon Wharf is progressing well despite numerous challenges.
On Berth 1, the physical construction and dredging are both 75% complete; Berth 2 physical construction 56.16% and dredging 45% complete; Berth 13 physical construction 59%; and Berth 14 physical construction 36.35% complete.
