Managers still await their fate

ALAN PEAT NO DECISION on the fate of three suspended senior managers is likely before year-end, Spoornet spokesman Molatwane Likhete told FTW last week. The investigations are still underway, he added, and a final verdict is only expected early next year. National operation centre GM Ravi Nair and corporate affairs GM Harry Mashele have been suspended indefinitely with full pay, while human capital GM Nkia Ntladi was suspended two weeks after being appointed for gross misrepresentation of his credentials. It is also believed that another senior manager in the human resources department may be under investigation, but Likhete could not confirm the truth of this rumour.
