MAERSK SEALAND has established
a new regional office in Almaty, Kazakhstan and a representative office in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
To date Maersk Sealand is the only ocean carrier present in the Central Asian region, providing services for the oil and gas, mining, and consumer goods industries among others, says Maersk South Africa managing director Peter Ehrenreich.
And although we are known for seaborne transportation solutions, our services also include solutions by truck and rail. Trans Siberian Express Service, a Maersk Sealand company, offers expansive coverage of the region, monitoring all movements on a daily basis.
