Maersk Line has announced a worldwide range of increases in freight rates, most to be implemented on August 1.
Those affecting Africa-bound cargoes are an increase of US$750 per TEU for cargo from the Middle East and South Asia to East Africa, and a hike of US$50 per TEU from the Far East Asia to West Africa – both starting August 1.
