IN AN acquisition announced last week, Maersk Venezuela has just taken a 49% stake in the container yard Almacenadora Conacentro at the countryÕs main port of Puerto Cabello.
The Conacentro container yard operates under a concession from the port authorities on a 23 000 m2 site close to the main container berths.
The A.P. Moller/Maersk Group now has container terminal operations in more than 30 ports worldwide.
