James Barrow has taken over from Francis Kingston as manager general and commercial at Lombard Insurance Group. The division specialises in customs and freight-related guarantees, from deferments to bonded warehousing and consignor bonds. Barrow, who joined Lombard Insurance four years ago, previously worked in the banking industry in South Africa and the UK. The Lombard approach is one of partnership, says Barrow.
