Lathieff takes over regional manager post

RAY SMUTS EXCEEDING THE expectations of P&O Nedlloyd South Africa’s import and export client base is one of the prime objectives of Firoz Lathieff, the newly-appointed regional manager for customer operations and shipment management based in Cape Town. Lathieff, who joined the company 15 years ago, brings to the position a wealth of experience in strategic operations, customer services and business process environment, the latter also a key focus area from a streamlining perspective. Previously based in Dubai and Cape Town as business process change manager for the Middle East, South Asia and Africa region, he was at the forefront of changing business processes in line with P&O Nedlloyd’s Global Shipping Practices and the implementation of global systems.
