EXPORTERS IN KwaZulu Natal have until March 8 to enter the first ever "Exporter of the Year" contest in the region. The Durban Chamber has joined forces with Maersk Sealand to launch the KwaZulu-Natal Exporter of the Year Award in a bid to encourage exports from the province. The awards will be presented at the Chamber's annual dinner to be held at the ICC on April 11. Entry forms are available from the Chambers of Commerce in KwaZulu Natal, Maersk Sealand in Durban or on the Chamber's website www.durbanchamber.co.za Maersk Sealand has already partnered the Cape Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Johannesburg Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in hosting similar awards for the Western Cape and Gauteng respectively.
