THE OFFICIAL opening of Kuehne and Nagel’s new premises in Airport Industria, Cape Town recently heralded a new growth phase for the company, and district manager Harold Prodgers sees it as an opportunity to enhance service delivery. “Through an intimate understanding of our customers’ products, we can ensure a dovetail to the most appropriate Kuehne and Nagel offering, tailoring the service to our customers’ needs.” Prodgers, who joined Kuehne and Nagel 14 months ago after a tenure of 27 years at P&O Nedlloyd, is enthusiastic about the company’s spacious new warehouse in Tower Road, Thunder City, which – at 8000m2 – represents a fourfold improvement over their previous premises.
