DOUG KENNEDY has taken over at Rennies Ships Agency as commercial executive primarily responsible for Lloyd Triestino sales performance and K-Line's car carrier marketing. In addition he has been appointed branch manager for the Johannesburg office.
Kennedy has notched up 19 years of experience in the shipping industry, most recently with Barwil.
He takes over from Andre Wissler who has left the company to set up freightroute.com, an internet site focusing on the freight industry.
Two additional appointments at Rennies Ships Agency include Maria O'Brien who takes over from Stormy Landsman as import controller for Lloyd Triestino and Craig Tilbrook who joins the company as LT's freight controller.
