Joint venture creates daily service on Jo’burg - Durban route

SOUTH AFRICAN Airways Cargo has joined forces with roadfreight major freightdynamics to provide a daily delivery service between Johannesburg International and Durban airports. Two 13-metre tautliners, each with a payload capacity of 25 tonnes, will provide a dedicated 24-hour service on the route. In addition freightdynamics will run a Johannesburg/East London/Port Elizabeth route with an additional two dedicated tautliner interlink combinations, each with a capacity of 34 tonnes. All vehicles have been branded in the SAA Cargo livery. “This joint marketing effort between freightdynamics and SAA Cargo will realise continuous growth on these routes and supports the increase in freight volumes handled by SAA Cargo,” says freightdynamics CEO, Thandeka Mgoduso.
