programme launched in 2012
by the Maputo Port Development
Company is starting to bear fruit,
according to commercial director
Johann Botha.
“We started with a ‘train the
trainer’ project funded by the
International Labour Organisation.
Eight of these trainees have now
been certified and have started
training the rest of the staff,” he
