Matola Cargo Terminals
(MCT), which is the agent
for Toyota in Mozambique,
continues to invest in support
facilities in the north of the
country in preparation for
the growth of the
country’s mining,
agricultural and
oil and gas
industries.
MCT provides
full sales and
workshop support
to the Toyota
range of forklifts in
Nampula, Beira and Tete.
“While the oil and gas
developments in the north
have slowed down significantly
because of the drop in the
oil price, we believe that
economic growth in the region
will continue to be driven
by the mining activities in
Tete, as well as agricultural
developments,” says Dawie
Ferreira, chairman of the MCT
board.
“We are continuously looking
at creating opportunities
through investments such as
new service centres in Beira
and Nampula to support the
forklift business,” he says.
