142 in 2014 to 127 out of 189
countries in 2015.
In the “distance to frontier”
(DTF) rankings it rose 4.73
points between 2014 and 2015.
The distance to frontier score
aids in assessing the absolute
level of regulatory performance
and how it improves over time.
Mozambique’s score has
improved from 51.24 in 2010 to
56.92 in 2015.
In comparison, neighbouring
South Africa’s score is 71.08;
Zimbabwe’s 46.95; Zambia’s
59.65 and Malawi’s 49.20.
