Allen Wack and Shepherd
(AWS) has added a
port clearance service to
its Mozambican operations
in order to offer a one-stop
service, according to sales and
marketing executive Chipo
Mabota.
“We identified the need for a
one stop facility which provides
seamless integration between
the service provider and the
client
“Mozambique is one of the
fastest-growing economies in
Africa and thus provides vast
opportunities for business
growth,” she says.
The addition of
value is helping
clients to
be more
competitive by
reducing the
overall costs
of transport
without
compromising
on quality, she
says.
AWS
Global Freight
Mozambique
has added
operational staff in order to
provide the new service.
Investment in systems by
the Harare-based Allen Wack
and Shepherd allows clients to
track their shipments through
the company’s website via PC or
smartphone.
The company covers the full
logistics chain, from clearing
through forwarding and
transportation to warehousing.
It has its own warehouses in
Harare, Mutare and Blantyre.
