Infrastructure development on parade

Infrastructure development and investment, as well as the skills needed to drive this, took centre stage at last week’s 16th annual Africa Transport and Infrastructure Show 2013, held at the Sandton Convention Centre. These are critical elements if South Africa is to compete on the global trade stage, said South Africa’s deputy minister of Public Enterprises, Bulelani Magwanishe, at the official opening of the event. “Shows such as this one bring together investors, government and major private sector stakeholders from across the globe, ensuring collaboration at the highest level.” The show attracted 100 exhibitors.
