South Africa will for the first time host the seventh annual Health and Humanitarian Logistics conference in Johannesburg from November 18-20.
Organised by the Gordon Institute of Business Science in association with Georgia Tech, Insead, MIT Humanitarian Response Lab and Northeastern University, the event brings together a high-level speaker line-up of global and local experts.
They include representatives from the likes of Coca-Cola, Imperial Health Sciences, United Nations World Food Programme, USAID and World Health Organisation.
Several site visits have also been planned to Baragwanath Hospital, Imperial Health Sciences Warehousing and Logistics Centre and UTi Pharmaceutical Distribution Centre among others.
An early bird registration fee of R4 200 applies for registrations before September 30.
