AIR FRANCE reports cargo activity suffered in the month of July 2005 due mainly to the weakness of European exports. Traffic decreased by 1.6% on 5.5% higher capacity and cargo load factor slipped 4.4% to 62.1%.
A new Sea-Intelligence analysis warns that resuming Suez transits could release 2.1 million TEU of capacity but may also unleash a wave of congestion at European ports.
