Fourie named ‘Boss of the Year’

MetroMinds managing director Juliette Fourie has been named “Boss of the Year,” beating tough nationwide competition from major corporations to take the coveted title. Now in its 25th year, the contest recognises excellence in people leadership, and in the words of its organisers, Dictum Publishing, pays tribute to those who understand that the success of their staff is in direct proportion to their own success. Fourie, who holds a BCom in Industrial Psychology, an honours from Unisa and is currently studying for a Master’s degree, started Metro Minds in 2006. “My biggest goal was to firstly educate as many people as possible and see them become successful in their lives – and secondly to create a work environment where people have fun, love what they do and have the freedom to think differently.” Having beaten many of the larger corporates to the winning podium, Fourie’s message is simple. “We may be small, but we are big enough to provide a world-class service.” CAPTION ‘Boss of the Year’ Juliette Fourie.
