According to the operations chief of the company, Brendon Sundelowitz, the country remains an important transit point and there is still a call for consolidation services to distribute imports to economic players still functioning in the country, “However, the forex problem makes it very difficult for importers to get the necessary hard currency with which to do business with South Africa," he said. BP also serves Mozambique twice a week and Lusaka on a weekly basis, with the truck continuing up to the Copperbelt if need be, he added.
