First tenant signs up for Coega’s agro-processing cluster

Ed Richardson DYNAMIC COMMODITIES will be the first investor to move into the agro-processing cluster at the Coega Industrial Development Zone, with production starting in 2007. Dynamic Commodities exports Island Way Sorbets to Japan, Korea, the United States and the European markets. But the company’s limited plant capacity formed part of its decision to relocate to the Coega IDZ. “Coega provided a good opportunity for us to expand our production to meet increasing global demand for our products”, says Adrian Vardy, CEO of the Nelson Mandela Bay-based company.
