Export Week will focus on practical training

THE DEPARTMENT of Trade and Industry will host its Export Week alongside the inaugural Export Africa 2005 trade exhibition at Gallagher Estate in Midrand, from May 17 - 19 this year. The dti’s Export Week aims to grow South African exports by offering practical support to potential and established exporters. Its focus will be a series of practical workshops and training sessions on export issues. The Export Services Exhibition, located within Export Africa, will offer delegates the opportunity to discuss their specific requirements with a variety of export service companies. Export Finance will be covered in a dedicated one day Workshop. A session on the EMIA Scheme will unpack information about the practical financial support which the dti provides to South African exporters in their marketing efforts, explaining the procedures and benefits to delegates. Delegates will be charged R200 excl VAT for the programme. For further information visit www.exportafricaexpo.com
