EXCELLENCE FORWARDING is gearing up for increased volumes of imports and exports in the year ahead after a steady year of business growth, says branch manager Ruth Boddington. “In line with our expansion goals we are in the process of incorporating a sales team that will market us on a greater scale,” she told FTW. “The Cape Town market is important to us as a growing company with branches already established in Johannesburg and Durban.” Excellence is the official representative for Damco in South Africa. “This gives us the added advantage of being part of a worldwide network,” she added. The company offers the full range of logistics services by air and sea for LCL and FCL shipments. “The challenge for the year ahead lies in winning a greater portion of the market while maintaining customer-focused service standards.”
