Energy supply being sorted

THE DEPARTMENT of Minerals and Energy has
given its assurance that there will be sufficient
energy supply and infrastructure during the 2010
FIFA World Cup.
A tender has already been awarded to construct
the Independent Power Producer in order to secure
enough energy, while Eskom has announced the
building of new power stations, a spokesman said.
