Emirates has extended the suspension of passenger uplift outbound from South Africa (JNB, DUR and CPT) to Dubai up to and including April 15.
Daily passenger services into JNB continue as before.
EK763 leaves Dubai at 09h55, arriving in Johannesburg at 16h15 (passengers and cargo).
EK764 leaves Johannesburg at 19h10, arriving in Dubai at 05h25 the following day (cargo only).
The airline reminds agents that passengers who have been to or connected through South Africa in the 14 days prior to the desired departure date, are not permitted to board from any other point to the UAE.
Travellers inbound to South Africa are required to:
*have a negative PCR certificate from a test taken in a 72-hour window before departure (children under five are exempt from the test requirement);
*download the Covid Alert South Africa app;
*complete the traveller health questionnaire before departure, and provide proof of accommodation and their address while in South Africa in case they are required to self‑isolate;
*have proof of travel insurance that covers the cost of any testing or quarantine.
